#GreensboroMatters

On the early eve of April 15, 2018 a horrific Tornado blasted through the east side of Greensboro, North Carolina. Leaving this community in disbelief and grief of lost memories, an entire elementary school (Hampton Elementary School) was destroyed with nothing but rubble and distorted objects left in its place. To add to the tragedies other schools were damaged as well, while knocking out electricity for miles. The Phillips avenue area lost power and had damages to a lot of their housing units. Pain, Sadness, Disbelief are just a few of the characteristics the city of Greensboro is feeling right now! Only with the unity of our communities and neighbors across the country can we be restored and refined. During times of tragedy it is most important for everyone to come together and unite as one. Those fortunate enough to not be effected by this disaster should extend open hands to help their brothers up. Everything helps!
