Do you see that face!? That aggression, the strength, the explosiveness. It must be a very scary sight to see this 6 foot 7 287 pound 18 year old man child coming through the lane, after putting a in and out dribble move on the perimeter defender spinning off of the big man stepping up to the elbow and taking flight sometimes even from the free throw line. As an opponent I'm quite sure they contemplate help Defense or just risking their coach benching them & cussing them out rather than being on a poster with this guy! Zion Williamson to say the least is a man amongst boys and honestly is easily the most NBA ready High school player since Lebron. However his pure athleticism and build connect him with the likes of a young Shaq at LSU. He's virtually unstoppable and his aggression speaks volumes through the personality of his basketball game. This kid just a few days ago had his head basically over the rim in just a simple vertical jump.
Maybe its just me but its weird how the sports world hasn't been as accepting to this young man and his unique physique and skill set. Seems to me it would be more outlets following him and he would have the hype around him that just last year (Laker) Lonzo Ball received coming out. Sure most people will say Lavar Ball is the reason why the attention was on Lonzo but he showed and proved while he was at UCLA. Nonetheless when somebody is as dominate and explosive as a Dominique Wilkins and Orlando Magic Shaquille O'Neal he should be spoken about more.
Now currently he has only played a few preseason games in the Duke Jersey but his presence has been felt at a level we haven't seen in a couple decades averaging numbers close to 30 ppg and 10+ rpg. Please follow me.....He's 6 ft 7 one inch more than Michael Jordan but one inch less than Lebron James. He is very allusive and seems to have a really good basketball IQ when it comes to attacking the rim and floor position. I would say that Zion could be the aggressive killer instinct form of Lebron James. Personally I think Lebron might be looking over his shoulder in about a year. Respect due to Bron because he held the crown for most of the duration of his career but in year 17 he'll be looking across the court at someone bigger, more aggressive and explosive than him. Who yall got Zion or Young Lebron? I guess we'll just have to let our imagination run with it...
